Ahead of Madhya Pradesh state assembly elections, Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Vivek Tankha has made a complaint in e-tendering scam of Madhya Pradesh to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), O.P. Rawat on Tuesday. Vivek Tankha has requested the CEC to intrude in the public interest as the scam involves money laundering and will impact upcoming state assembly elections.
Vivek Tankha also blamed the BJP led Madhya Paradesh government over not covering the whole tenure of scam.
The e-tendering scam came into light early this year, when MD of the State Electronics Development Corporation and Principal Secretary Manish Rastogi found that a tempering was done in nine e-tenders.
