New Delhi: The Election Commission of India on Saturday, 20 April banned the Eros Now production, “Modi – Journey of a Common Man”. In their letter to the producers, ECI wrote.
The letter citing the April 10 order of the Commission directs producers to stop “the online streaming and remove all connected contest of the web-series titled, Modi – Journey of common man, till further orders”.
In the April 10 direction the commission had written “any biopic material in the nature of biography/hagiography subserving the purposes of any political entity or any individual entity connected to it, which is intended to, or which has potential to disturb the level playing field during the elections, should not be displayed in electronic media including cinematograph during the operation of model code of conduct.”
