The 2020 assembly elections in Delhi are about to approach. The major battlefield is between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC).

A viral claim is doing rounds on social media that says Aam Aadmi Party has released the first list of 27 candidates for Delhi polls of which 21 candidates are Muslims.

When a fact check was done on the list is circulating, it was found that the information is fake as the Aam Aadmi Party has not released its official list yet. According to reports, Arvind Kejriwal’s party is still finalizing the names of candidates.

For the uninitiated, the assembly elections in the national capital will take place on February 8. The counting of votes and announcement of results will take place on February 11, 2020.

Final Verdict:

The list and its claim are fake as the Aam Aadmi Party has not released its official list yet.
