Mumbai, June 2 (IANS) Twenty20 cricket has revolutionised the game, delivering many intense clashes over the years, while subsequently taking batsmanship to another level. Winning the toss, Australia posted a competitive 160/6 in their 20 overs. Kohli clobbered 9 boundaries and 2 sixes in his unbeaten 51-ball 82 as India sealed a memorable 6-wicket win.

ICC WT20 2014: Match Semi-Final, IND v SA | 10.06.2020

The 2014 ICC World T20 semi-final against South Africa was yet another example of how Team India shone under the astute leadership of M.S. Dhoni. Opting to bat, the Proteas posted 172/4 in their 20 overs. Kohli mustered an unbeaten 72 off 44 deliveries – his dazzling knock studded with 5 boundaries and 2 sixes – as India chased down the scored with 5 balls to spare.

ICC WT20 2012: Match 20, IND v PAK | 12.06.2020

Another India versus Pakistan clash called for another Virat Kohli special on the biggest stage of them all. Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and took the decision of piling on the runs. The move however backfired as the Indian bowling attack kept the opposition on a tight leash. Kohli tonked 8 boundaries and 2 sixes in his unbeaten 61-ball 78 as India registered a crushing 8-wicket win with 18 balls to spare. Quite rightly, Kohli was named Man of the Match.
