FAU-G teaser released: Akshay Kumar is making gamers nostalgic about PUBG

In June, 59 apps were banned, including TikTok, and another 47 apps were suspended in July.

FAU-G teaser released: Akshay Kumar is making gamers nostalgic about PUBG

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar launched a teaser of the video game FAU-G on social media on the special occasion of Dussehra. Taking it to Facebook and Twitter handles, Kumar shared the video. Captioning his post, he wrote, “Today we celebrate the victory of good over evil, and what better day to celebrate our Fearless and United Guards, our FAU-G! On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, presenting the #FAUG teaser.”

The teaser is barely a minute long, it gives a glimpse of the soldiers dressed in Indian army uniform and the Galwan Valley. The soldiers are seen fighting off the enemy without weapons.

nCore,  the company developing the game also announced the launch date of FAUG on Twitter and said, “Good always triumphs over evil, the light will always conquer the darkness.May victory bless Fearless And United Guards, our FAU-G. Launching in November 2020!”.

FAU-G, which stands for Fearless And United – Guards, was announced as PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s and India’s most popular games of all time was banned. PUBG Mobile was banned by the government in India along with 117 more Chinese apps after border skirmishes with China in Ladakh.

The game was originally announced in September, shortly after the government banned PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite in the country. Both versions of the game, along with dozens of other Chinese apps and games, remain banned, even though PUBG Corporation seems to be working behind the curtain to find a way to get the game unbanned.
