In September last year, Rishi Kapoor flew off to the US to undergo treatment for the treatment of Cancer. While the Kapoor family has acknowledged that Rishi is suffering from some serious ailment, they haven’t confirmed it yet that he is suffering from cancer. It is rumored that he was in the third stage of cancer and needed urgent medical help for it.
Veteran filmmaker Rahul Rawail took to Facebook and sharing a picture with Rishi Kapoor wrote, “Rishi Kapoor (Chintu) is cancer-free.” You can check his post below:
Going by Rawail’s post, the Kapoor’s undisclosed ailment is indeed cancer. But we wonder why none of his family members have spoken about it so far. Anyway, we are glad that the senior Kapoor is cancer free and we are looking forward to welcoming him back in India.
Since the last one year, Rishi’s wife Neetu has kept his fans and followers updated about his recovery and treatment by sharing his pictures on her social media handle. She once even mentioned in one of her posts – “Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred fewer poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health.” Ranbir Kapoor was shuttling between New York and his shoots in India as he wanted to be by his dad’s side during the course of his treatment. Kapoor Jr has even put his plans of moving in with girlfriend Alia Bhatt on hold, till his dad feels better.
