Five people have been arrested in Hyderabad’s old city on charges of performing bike stunts while wearing burkhas, police officials reported. The group filmed their actions to create content for social media.
Inspector Venkat Ramaiah of the IS Sadan Police Station said the individuals performed the stunts on August 15, later posting the footage online. The police registered a case citing nuisance, dangerous driving, and other violations.
In a related incident in Uttar Pradesh, police impounded a bike from a YouTuber in Gautampalli for performing similar stunts for Instagram reels.
