Former India cricket player Praveen Kumar is under spotlight for wrong reasons. The pacer has been accused of allegedly thrashing his neighbour Deepak Sharma in an inebriated condition and also pushing his seven-year-old son. Deepak’s hand has been fractured while his son has suffered a back injury.

While explaining the incident, Deepak, the victim, informed that Praveen Kumar came out of his car while he was waiting at the bus stop for his son at around 3 PM and started beating him. He also claimed that the former cricketer was drunk as he abused the bus driver first and then beat him (Deepak) and also pushed his son.

“He was in an inebriated condition. Later, he thrashed me and fractured my hand. Kumar also pushed my son who has suffered injury in his back. Now the police are forcing me to compromise,” he said. “Moreover, I have started receiving death threats,” he added.

According to the reports, the investigation is currently in progress and the required action will be taken soon.

This is not the first time Praveen has made it to the news for a wrong reason. In 2008, the ex-cricketer was allegedly involved in a street fight with a doctor in Meerut in 2008
