In a shocking assertion, former Indian civil servant Shah Faesal proposed Nobel Peace Prize for Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan. This proposal comes hours after Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was released from Pakistan’s custody on Friday, reached Delhi.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Faesal said that a Nobel Prize for the Pakistani PM could drastically change the way Pakistan operates in the South Asia region.
Praising Khan, the former civil servant said that he has already raised the bar for leadership in the region and if he is given the peace prize then it will encourage him to further nurture the India-Pak relationship.

IK has already raised the bar for leadership in the region, and the Prize could encourage him to further nurture the India-Pak relationship.
He deserves the prize.

Twitterati slammed Shah Faesal for his brazen endorsement of Pakistan’s views on Imran Khan’s grandstanding after he announced the release of Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Abhinandan Varthaman, who ejected the MiG 21 fighter jet just before it crashed into PoK and was captured by the authorities.
Ok, in absence of any other proven reasons, let’s give some credit to IK. But, the Peace Prize? Not until he wages a sincere war on the terrorist bases inside his country, even before he can be friends with us. Else, the ‘Peace Prize’ can be given only on the gun-point!?

Brilliant suggestion ! Chances will be higher, if you nominate him jointly with Maulana Masood Azhar, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and couple of Afghan Taliban worthies.

Have you lost it?Forgotten what led to this? 44 CRPF killed by a terror group based in Pakistan. How is that raising the bar for leadership? And peace prizes do not alter how a leader behaves. Just look at Obama.
