Imran Khan, former Prime Minister of Pakistan and leader of the Pakistan Tehrik E Insaf party, was attacked during a rally in Gujranwala near Zafar Ali Chowk. The former captain of the Pakistan cricket team was attacked by firing on his container. He is, however, said to be safe.
