Gate 2021 Answer Key challenge: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, has opened the GATE 2021 answer key challenge window. As per the update released on the official portal, if the candidate feels that there is a wrong answer in the answer key released, they can raise objections. For this, they will have time from 2nd March to 4th March 2021.
Candidates should know that they also need to submit the description/ proof supporting their challenge. To raise an objection, candidates also need to pay a fee of Rs 500 per question.
Gate 2021 Answer Key: How to challenge
- Open the GATE 2021 official website gate.iitb.ac.in
- Click on the “GATE 2021 answer key challenge” link
- Login using the required credentials
- Question IDs along with the correct answer ID and the option IDs will be displayed on the screen
- Select the question and option ID which need to be challenged
- Write the description supporting the challenge
- Pay the required fee to submit the challenge.
9 lakh admission cards were issued for the GATE 2021 examination this year. According to the Institute, about 78 percent of the students participated in the examination this time. The results for the examination will be released on March 22, 2021.
Final GATE 2021 answer keys will be published around March 18, 2021, after the GATE 2021 committee review all challenges.
