GATE 2022 admit card: Check Steps to download online

Once released, the GATE admit card 2022 will be released on its official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates will have to key in their enrollment ID and password to download exam hall ticket.

GATE 2022 admit card update: GATE 2022 admit card, earlier scheduled to release on January 3, will release today.

According to reports, the Indian Institute of Technology, Khragpur (IIT) will release the GATE 2022 admit card after 10 am.

Once released, the GATE admit card 2022 will be released on its official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates will have to key in their enrollment ID and password to download exam hall ticket.

While IITKGP GATE 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022, the in computer-based online exam will be conducted in two shifts on each day.

GATE 2022 admit card: Steps to download online

Step 1: Visit the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Step 2: Go to GATE 2022 admit card option [link not yet active].

Step 3: Enter the Login credentials.

Step 3: Download GATE 2022 admit card and take a printout.

Candidates have to wear their face masks while appearing for the exam.

Candidates must wear open footwear like slippers, sandals instead of closed shoes. This apart, the clothes should not have big buttons.
GATE 2022 admit card: Items prohibited in the exam hall

Candidates should not bring the following items at the exam hall.

  • Smart or digital watches
  • Pager
  • Health band
  • Pen drives
  • Electronic Pen
  • Log Books/Geometry Box
  • Mobile phones
  • Bluetooth
  • Earphones
  • Microphones
  • Wallet/Handbag

New Papers

The two new papers (GE and NM) will provide direct benefits to graduates in these two areas, especially when the country needs human resources with advanced capabilities in Ship Building Industries and Geo-informatics.
Geomatics Engineering (GE)
The Paper contains General Aptitude (GA) section (15 Marks) as applicable for all papers of GATE 2022.
Rest of the Paper consists of two parts covering the syllabus: Part A (55 marks) and Part B (30 marks).
Part A is compulsory for all the candidates.
Part B contains two optional sections: Section I and Section II. Candidates have to choose any one of these during the examination. No separate score and ranking will be provided based on selection of sections.

Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM)
The Paper contains General Aptitude (GA) section (15 Marks) as applicable for all papers of GATE 2022.
Rest of the Paper will have 85 marks covering the syllabus.
