Considering the current times, you may want to give a personal visit and a big warm hug a pass if you think you might be exposed to the coronavirus, and use technology instead. So, send a text message or call them and make their day special by thanking them for everything they have done for you.

  • Dinner date:

You are born under a lucky star if you are with your parents during the lockdown. If you are a busy professional working from home who cannot take out much time, the smallest of the things you can do is take your parents on a dinner date and make them feel special and included.

  • Make Gifts:

What can be a more perfect day to gift your parents! This time instead of buying gifts online or gift stores, make gifts for your parents. Make a family frame, do handicraft, and put a big smile on your parent’s face.

  • Watch a movie:

If you are not good at expressing, plan a movie date to convey your feelings to your parents. Spend some quality time with your parents. Movies would also work as a refreshment in between all the frustrations and boredom amid the lockdown.

Global day of Parents has used a platform to create awareness and educate people on the importance of parenting and also for children to understand the sacrifices the parents make to make them what they are today. Love your parents unconditionally and make them feel every day is their day just like the way they made you feel when you were a child.
