Flood-ravaged Kerala is almost prepared to receive tourists in the God’s own Country soon. Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), the country’s largest tourism sector conclave of stake-holders from across the world will be held in the state from September 27 to 30. KTM is a public-private sector collaboration that serves as a forum for meaningful interactions with international buyers and sellers engaged in the tourism industry.

“The response to this edition of KTM has been overwhelming with 395 overseas and 1,095 domestic buyers having registered as participants. 1,000 rooms have been booked in top hotels in the city to accommodate the participants coming from 73 countries,” said Baby Mathew, president of KTM Society.

This will be Kerala Travel Mart’s tenth edition and is aimed at sending out a strong message of Kerala tourism’s return. During the event, Kerala’s new projects that are launched by the state government are expected to be showcased. KTM will exhibit the projects including the grand Malabar River Cruise project to the delegates to encourage tourism back in Kerala.
