Gold price January 18: Today on January 18tg, the new week has started on the lower side for gold, as the gold price has dropped the Gold price to Rs 48,900 from Rs 52,420, whereas the silver price is trending at Rs 48,910 per kg, according to the Good Returns website.
The Gold jewellery price which varies across India, due to excise duty, state taxes, and making charges is also at an all-time low, as the gold price keeps falling.
In the capital city, New Delhi, the gold price of 22-carat gold is at Rs 48,130 per 10 gm, while in Chennai it slipped to Rs 46,070. In other states such as Mumbai, the rate was Rs 47,900 accordingly. The price of 24-carat gold in Chennai was Rs 50,260 per 10 gm.
The silver prices remained unchanged at Rs 65,000 per kg in the previous trade.
