Gold price January 19: Yellow metal price increases to Rs 48,960, silver remains stable

Today on January 19th, finally the gold price has inched above the three day low and has increased to Rs 48,960 from Rs 48,900. Whereas the silver price is stable at Rs 65,000 per kg.

Today on January 19th, finally the gold price has inched above the three day low and has increased to Rs 48,960 from Rs 48,900. Whereas the silver price is stable at Rs 65,000 per kg.

As the gold price varies due to excise tax and other conditions, the gold jewellery price in India state wise is different, so let’s take a look at the same.

In the capital state of India New Delhi, the gold price of 22-carat gold is at Rs 47,650 per 10 gm, whereas in Chennai it rose to Rs 46,130. In Mumbai, the rate was Rs 47,960 according to the Good Returns website.

The price of 24-carat gold in Chennai was Rs 50,320 per 10 gm. This shows that the price of gold has increased all over the country after 3 days of consecutive fall.
