A photograph of a married couple is doing rounds on social media making viewers eye-struck out of shock. As per the report of a national daily, a police woman handling a case of serial killer, lost her heart to the under trail gangster during court hearings.
Police officer identified as Payal met Rahul Thasrana at Surajpur court where she was posted. Rahul was arrested in relation to the murder of trader Manmohan Goyal on May 9, 2014. He was also accused in over a dozen other cases of loot and murder.
Reports quoted police officials who said that Payal remained in touch with Thasrana even as he continued to be in and out of jail; and eventually fell in love with him. The duo recently got married at an undisclosed location. The photos of them sitting in the mandap dressed as bride and groom, which Thasrana shared with his friends in Dankaur, have gone viral.
Meanwhile, officla have started to look for lady constable’s records to trace. SP (rural) Ranvijay Singh said that “we are verifying where this woman is posted. Action is likely against her,” he said.
