Zoya Akhtar directorial movie Gully Boy has proved to be a winner at the box office. The film that was released on Feb 14 remains to maintain its place in the second weekend also. Despite, Total Dhamaal was released this Friday Gully boy still shines at the box office.
On Sunday, the musical drama on its second Sunday gathered Rs 7.10 crore in its collection, taking the total to Rs 118.35 crore.
The film opened with a collection of Rs 19.40 crore and collected hefty amount in his extended four day weekend.

The film is based on a slum rapper from Mumbai who wants to rise above his socio-economic status to become a star. The film is inspired from two street rappers Divine and Naezy.
Not only the star cast but the film has some very brilliant performance from the new-comers as well. The portrayal of MC Sher by Sidhant Chaturvedi has also won many hearts of the audience and made him the National Crush of the nation.
Special screening of the film was also held in Mumbai. The actors have received many appreciations for their performance from their families as well as the audience. International rap artist Will Smith also praised Ranveer’s performance in Gully Boy.
The film also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Amruta Subhash in important roles.
