The Gurugram Global College of Pharmacy organized “JOSH-2023,” an Inter-College Annual Sports Meet that began on February 27th, 2023 and ended on March 4th, 2023, in the lush green field of the college. This event was highly anticipated and was carried out with great fevour and passion.
The much-awaited valedictory event commenced with the arrival of the highly esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Montu M. Patel, Honorable President, Pharmacy Council of India and Shri Ravindra Tokas Ji, Honorable Chairman, the Global Group of Institutions. Gurugram. Honorable Chief Guest was welcomed and felicitated by respected Chairman, Mr. Ravinder Tokas Ji. Dr Indira Raheja, Principal, GGCP highlighted the revolutionary contribution and achievements of Dr. Patel ji for uplifting the profession of pharmacy and raising the bar of pharmacy education in India by his continuous efforts. The program started with a balloon release and followed by the March Past by the students of various departments. Dr. Patel highlighted that PCI is soon launching a job portal on March 6th during Pharma Anveshan 2023, which is being organized in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. He also mentioned that it will provide excellent job opportunities for all the pharmacists of India.
The valedictory function ended with a token of appreciation to the students and faculty members whose persistent and untiring efforts made the glorious achievement possible for the day.
The students then performed a heart-warming dance performance to raise the spirit of unity and diversity among the participants. The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, after which he distributed trophies to the winning teams as well as participants. He was delighted to see the large number of students participating enthusiastically. He appreciated the efforts of the participants and said that we all learn more outside the class through the medium of sports, which is like a rejuvenating therapy for all.
