COVID-19 vaccine: 56-year-old woman health worker in Gurugram has been declared dead after she got the COVID-19 vaccine last week.
The cause of the death is yet to be cleared, and her body has been sent for an autopsy, doctors said.
“Only after the post-mortem report comes, the cause of Rajwanti’s death will be known. Till then it will not be right to say that Rajwanti died due to the vaccine,” Gurgaon’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Virendra Yadav said.
“She had been administered COVID-19 vaccination on January 16. Her family reported her sudden death at her home today, but there is nothing yet to suggest and link with the vaccination,” Yadav added.
Rajwanti did not wake up in the morning and was then declared dead at the Medanta hospital, woman’s family said.
