Their styles crash together like oil and water one’s about charm and gut instinct, the other’s got a rulebook glued to his hand. Maybe some of the most entertaining drama you’ll see this year.
Han Suk-kyu revealed that he read the script and was immediately convinced to do the show. He didn’t care about just solving cases; he was in for the real feels awkward jokes, weird warmth, the messy stuff that actually happens between people.
This isn’t Han’s first rodeo with director Shin Kyung-soo they’ve teamed up before (Deep Rooted Tree). After ten years apart, it’s like they picked up right where they left off. No need for endless rehearsals. They get each other makes everything on screen feel easy and sharp.
Han’s not messing around with the details. Mr. Shin’s look is total dad-mode in the kitchen. But let some trouble pop up, and suddenly, boom he’s slicked up, ready to talk circles around anyone. Even the way he flips chicken changes. That’s commitment, honestly. You’ll catch it if you’re watching close.
