Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has dropped his most ambitious project ‘Mahabharat’ from his shelf. According to several media reports, it was said that the actor was devoting 5 years of his career to make the mythological epic a reality in several parts for the web platform.
Sharing about the reason why Aamir is dropping this project, a source told SpotboyE, “After weighing all pros and cons Aamir Khan has decided not to make the Mahabharat. More importantly, the scale on which he planned the project was commercially not viable. Also, setting aside five years of his precious time for the Mahabharat meant losing out on doing at least three feature films. So No Mahabharat.”
“Aamir can’t afford to devote two years of his life to make a web series (Mahabharat was planned as a web series). He needs to quickly announce his presence in a big star-studded feature film directed by a reliable director,” said the source to the portal.
On the work front, Aamir is about to finish the shoot of his much-anticipated inspirational flick, Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is a remake of the 1994 Tom Hanks classic, Forrest Gump. It also features Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh and is directed by Secret Superstar (2017) director Advait Chandan.
