NCB is currently investigating drug probe in relation to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Recently, actor Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were sent a summons by NCB.
While Rakul Preet Singh appeared before NCB yesterday, Deepika, Shraddha and Sara will be appearing today.
During her questioning, Rakul allegedly dropped four names of Bollywood celebs and revealed to the investigating officials that Kshitij used to supply drugs to them.
Reportedly, Rakul Preet Singh was grilled by NCB for over four hours. During her interrogation, Rakul was asked about mentioning ‘doob’ in her WhatsApp chats with Rhea Chakraborty.
The actress allegedly told the officials that the word meant a rolled cigarette and not something consisting of any mind-altering substance. But Rhea in her interrogation allegedly told NCB that doob was a reference to a drug.
An NCB officer revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “In the course of our investigation in the Rhea Chakraborty matter, we came across a WhatsApp conversation between her and Rakul Preet Singh in which Rhea asked Rakul Preet whether she had doob and Rakul Preet replied saying it was at her house.” However, the officer told the tabloid that Rhea, during her questioning’ had allegedly said ‘the reference to the doob was a reference to marijuana.’
For the uninitiated, Kshitij Ravi Prasad, who was named by Rakul for supplying drugs to 4 Bollywood celebs, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Kshitij was reportedly evasive during the questioning. He was also asked about Karan Johar’s 2019 party, which created a stir on social media.
