Rumour mills are rife that all is not well between MS Dhoni and his childhood friend Arun Pandey. In fact, the friction is far rougher than we had imagined according to sources. Sources close to the dynamic say that Dhoni and Pandey have almost stopped talking and interact if and only if it is imperative.
The latest is that the marketing rights of Chennai Super Kings have also been passed off to Dhoni’s two other friends, Mihir Wadkar (former cricketer) and Seemant Lohani. The duo’s company Aarka Sports Management. Earlier, Pandey’s company Rhiti Sports was managing the same.
So Sushant Singh Rajput started enquiring if the Dhoni biopic Part 2 is happening or not ever since the news broke out on a leading entertainment portal. The first part titled MS Dhoni: The Untold Story worked wonders for him, he did it well too.
Okay, so why must Sushant be anxious? Well, we understand his anxiety because nothing much has worked for him, his last two films Kedarnath and Sonchiriya didn’t do so well at the box-office. Pandey had produced the biopic with Fox Star Studios. So we don’t know how much right he has over the rights.
Sources are claiming that Pandey cannot throw a spanner in the making of the biopic’s second part if Dhoni decides that it should see the light of day. The focus of Part 2 was supposed to be on the Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) being banned for 2 years in IPL (Indian Premier League) and then Dhoni coming back (from the Pune Warrors team) to register his 3rd win for CSK. If anything Dhoni, must be really yearning to show that on the bigscreen.
