From Basantpur’s Bag Reena Verma has won for Pradhan and Mohan Chand for Deputy Pradhan.

From Basantpur Meena Devi has won for Pradhan and Rajeev for Deputy Pradhan.

From Dumehar, Hem Dass has won for Pradhan and Khem Raj for Deputy Pradhan.

From Madhod, Roshan Lal has won for Pradhan and Som Prakahs for Deputy Pradhan.


Congress backed candidate Shobhit Gautam won from Chaola Ward of Una Block. While, BJP backed candidate Prince Kumar won from Gagret block’s Goglehar Panchayat Samiti and Kripal Singh has won from Kuthera.


From Panchayat Samiti Pangi Ward in Kinnaur, Kishore Kumar has got 890 votes while Bharat Lal has got 462 votes. From Panchayat Samiti Kothi ward Karuna got 733 votes while Nirmala got 365 votes. From Panchayat Samiti Rupi ward Mangala Devi got 454 votes while Vinata Devi got 316 votes.


BJP-backed candidate Sunita won by 35 votes from Ward No 1 of Chhebri-Shakori of Basantpur block in Shimla district.


The result of the election for members of the panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads in Himachal Pradesh will be declared on Friday, January 22.

The highest 94 percent polling was registered in Lodhi Majra panchayat of the Nalagarh development block in Solan. Nearly 81 percent turnout was recorded in the third and final phase of the panchayat elections on Thursday.

In the first phase of the elections, 1,227 panchayats had gone to the polls. In the second phase on Tuesday, the polling took place in 1,208 panchayats. Then in the final round, a total of 1,137-gram panchayats had gone to the polls. The state has 3,615-gram panchayats, of which polling will be held for 3,583, except 32 in Keylong of Lahaul-Spiti district. 

Forty-nine Covid-19 patients and those in quarantine exercised their right to vote, the government spokesperson said.

“The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare January 17, 2021. Sunday (if necessary) January 19, 2021 (Tuesday) and January 21, 2021 (Thursday) as a public holiday in Himachal Pradesh on account of the general election to Panchayati Raj Institutions (in the areas of those Panchayati Raj Institutions where the election are scheduled to be held) on the respective dates (in case poll is held),” the HP government had said in the order.
