However, flare guns are not especially uncommon loot. If you continue to loot chests and explore the map, you will eventually discover one lying around.
Using the flare gun is astonishingly easy. It operates by firing a flare into the air, which then emits a ping that searches for enemies.
If an enemy is nearby, the flare gun will mark them on the screen so that they are easier to spot. They are an extremely useful reconnaissance tool when you’re in a difficult situation.
