Farhan Akhtar’s directorial titled Lakshya which starred Hrithik Roshan hit the big screens in 2004. The film along with Hrithik starred Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. For an entire generation, the film was a cult of sorts and redefined aspiration and self-discovery.
Hrithik played the role of a young brat turning into a responsible army officer. The actor got nostalgic as the film completes 15 years. Hrithik took to social media to cherish the special milestone of the film and also reminisced everything the film has done for him.
In a series of heartfelt tweets, he wrote “A beautiful story of self-discovery that touched my life in many ways. Lakshya resonated with my phase of self-discovery as an actor. It gave me a friendship of a decade and a half with @FarOutAkhtar & @ritesh_sid.”

On the work front, the actor is gearing up for the release of the next film Super 30 which also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Mrunal Thakur in key roles. The film is based in the life of mathematician Anand Kumar. The film is slated to release on July 12 this year.
