Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav phone call to District Magistrate amid teachers’ protest in Patna is going viral on Social Media.

 Tejashwi Yadav when arrived at the Eco-park, Patna he was made aware of the situation that protesting teachers have been subjected to the lathi charge and their permission for the protest had also been denied for their planned location. Hearing this leader of the opposition called Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh to allow teachers to protest under their democratic right.   

Yadav asked DM to give protestors permission to protest at their desired location without taking permission daily. In the video, Tejashwi could be seen surrounded by a group of teachers and media personnel.  

“There has been a lathi charge, their food has been thrown away, they were driven away…Now some are here with me at ECO Park. All that they want is that they are allowed to protest,” Yadav said, adding that he will “WhatsApp the application.” When Yadav questioned by when will they hear back from him, DM Singh said, “Kab tak meaning? You haven’t sent the application and are questioning me.” Yadav then introduced himself: “Hum Tejashwi Yadav bol rahein hai, DM sahab (This is Tejashwi Yadav speaking).”

DM then quickly changed his tone and replied with “Acha, ok sir”, resulting in a burst of laughter among the protestors.
