I never hooked up with him, he's a scumbag: Karishma Sharma on Andrew Tate’s claim

After a humiliating encounter with environmental activist Greta Thunberg, disgraced influencer Andrew Tate received additional pushback from actor Karishma Sharma. In response to a photo of her with Tate and a video circulating on social media in which he discusses a “hook up incident” with the Ujda Chaman (2019) actor, Sharma has categorically dismissed Tate’s claims.

“He is lying,” clarifies Sharma, “we never hooked up. I just wanted to share my side of the story so that everyone knows he is a scumbag who spreads lies and seeks attention. I was ecstatic when he was apprehended.”

Sharma recalls meeting Tate and his brother Tristan in 2014 or thereabouts. “If you are from Mumbai, you meet many people because you frequently attend parties. I met him by chance at a hotel party in Mumbai. When you see an attractive person, you approach them, and I did the same with him. Normal conversation ensued. “He informed me that his mother is Indian, and we exchanged a few shots,” Sharma says. The Super 30 (2019) actor reveals further that when Tate learned that she is an actor, he insisted on taking the viral photograph. That is all that occurred. His Instagram messages were extremely odd and inappropriate. “Once I realised he is a creep who constantly demeans women, I severed ties with him and blocked him because I didn’t like the way he spoke about them,” Sharma explains.

The controversy surrounding the video prompted Sharma’s friends to begin questioning her. “It is not an embarrassment if you have ever hooked up with someone. I would have no problem with it (admit). After six years, he suddenly posted this. It caused me a great deal of anxiety because (what Tate asserts) never occurred. I do not understand why people are judging me in this manner. I receive numerous messages simply stating, “Oh Andrew Tate,” although I have no affiliation with this individual. Even my friends questioned me, which was even more painful. There are people who are extremely sarcastic about it, such as “Oh, you’re dating Andrew Tate,” and it hurts. It hurts when your own people inquire. When my friend sent me that video, my heart sank,” the 29-year-old states.

Sharma’s boyfriend, actor Vivaan Shah, has been “supportive” of her throughout this ordeal. She reveals, “He told me not to care about him at all.”

Sharma has no opportunity to confront Tate, but she believes he simply “wanted attention.” “He wanted me to respond in kind. However, I am not in a position to do so. I have been experiencing anxiety recently. I avoid getting involved in controversies. He is brainwashing younger men to dislike women. It is causing me distress, and I find myself in tears on occasion. I had to discuss it. People say it is okay, but it is not. “Once you’ve expressed yourself, you know you’ve done your job, and you can take a step back,” she concludes.
