IAF AFCAT 2021 Application process update: The Indian Air Force is all set to begin the registration process for IAF AFCAT 2021 today, December 1, 2021 onwards. Candidates, who want to apply for the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT, can apply online through the official site – afcat.cdac.in.

While the last date of online application is December 30, 2021, the recruitment drive will fill up 317 posts in January 2023 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission in Ground Duty Branches.

The registration link will be activated at 10 am today. Candidates can check the simple steps given below to apply online.

Step 1: Visit the official website – afcat.cdac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the IAF AFCAT 2021 registration link

Step 3: Enter the required information.

Step 4: Submit the details.

IAF AFCAT 2021 Registration: Here is what official notification says

“AFCAT 01/2022 Registration for AFCAT and NCC branches is commenced from 1st Dec 2021 at 1000 hrs and end on 30th Dec 2021 at 1700 hrs. Candidates are requested to fill the application form well in time and avoid last minute rush.”

IAF AFCAT 2021 Registration: Important points at a glance

AFCAT – AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST
For all entries other than NDA and CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT.
The test is conducted twice a year in February and August.
Advertisements inviting applications for AFCAT are out in June and December. Candidates are to apply as per the advertisement.
The test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force.

NCC ENTRY
Air Sqn NCC Senior division ‘C’ certificate holders are to apply online through NCC Special entry.
