ICAR NET 2019 exam date postponed: ICAR NET 2019 exam date has been rescheduled from December 2019 to January 2020 by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board or ASRB.
Earlier, the exam was slated to be held from December 9 to December 15, 2019, will now be held from January 6 to January 10, 2019. Candidates who will be giving the ICAR NET 2019 exam can check the official website of ASRB, asrb.org.in.
According to the official notice, due to some administrative reasons, the rescheduling of ICAR NET 2019 exam has been done. The admit card will be released by the Board soon on the official website.
About the exam
The exam will be of 150 marks consisting of 150 multiple choice questions to be solved in a two-hour duration therefore, this will be a single paper.
Each question will be of one mark however, for each wrong answer 1/3 mark will be deducted. The minimum qualifying marks for unreserved is 75 marks, OBC is 67.5 marks and SC/ST/Divyang is 60.0.
National Eligibility Test (NET) is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for the position of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs).
Qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for the post of Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/AUs. For further details, candidates can check the official website of ASRB.
