ICMR JRF 2020: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) will hold the ICMR Junior Research Fellowship (ICMR JRF) Test 2020 on July 12, 2020. ICMR will conduct the ICMR JRF 2020 in collaboration with Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
The exam will be held at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi (NCR), Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) and Varanasi.
The schedule has been published on the official website. Candidates are required to visit the official website so as to check the schedule.
The online application process for ICMR JRF will commence from April 27, 2020, and will end on May 27, 2020.
ICMR will award a total of 150 fellowships via this exam. 120 would be in the field of Biomedical Science and 30 will be for work emphasis on Social Science.
Eligibility criteria for ICMR JRF 2020:
Candidates possessing MSc/MA or equivalent degree with at least 55 % mark for General/EWS/OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates in the subjects mentioned above can apply. Candidates who are appearing for the final examination in 2019-2020 session can also apply for the exam.
Age limit for ICMR JRF 2020:
The upper limit for admission to the eligibility test is 28 years
Candidates can only apply with the help of an online method. General, EWS, and OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 by way of application fee. The fee for SC and ST candidates is Rs. 1200. Candidates in the PwD category does not have to make a payment of the form.
