ICSE, ISC Results 2020 LIVE Updates: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has declared the ICSE and ISC board exam results on Friday, July 10, 2020, at 3 PM. Students of ICSE and ISC board who have taken class 10th and 12th exams can check their result online at ‘cisce.org’, and ‘results.cisce.org’.
Schools affiliated to CISCE will be able to access their students’ results by logging into the CAREERS portal using Principal’s login ID and password.
Last month, CISCE informed the Supreme Court that the remaining exam will be marked based on the student’s performance in previous examinations and internal assessment. On July 2, the Council had released a revised assessment scheme that had internal assessment marks, and marks scored in the best three subjects as components.
If any student is unsatisfied with their results and wishes to improve it, they will be given a chance to write remaining exams later, Council told SC.
The students will also get their results through SMS. To get results on SMS, students have to send their Unique id to 09248082883 in the following format : ‘ICSE/ISC (Unique ID)’.
Students will be able to check their ISC Result 2020 using their course code, candidate UID, and index number. Students will be required to collect their original marksheet from their schools respectively.
How to check ICSE/ISC results:
- 1) Go to the official results website of CISCE, cisce.org, and results.cisce.org.
- 2) On the homepage, select the course ICSE or ISC as required
- 3) Enter your UID, Index number and Captcha
- 4) Click on show result
- 5) The result will be displayed on the screen
- 6) Download the results and take its print out for future use
ISC Result: Re-evaluation process
Here are a few things that students should keep in mind while applying for ISC 12th re-evaluation-
- The registration for the re-evaluation of answer sheets will be done in online mode
- The application fees is Rs 1000 per subject, which can be submitted online
- ISC 12th result 2020 of re-evaluation will be released in August 2020
The CISCE board reduced the syllabus by 25 per cent for the next academic year due to “significant shortening of the academic year and loss of the instructional hours” in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
As per the latest notification issued by the ICSE Board, the decision to reduce the syllabi will be applicable for Class 9 to Class 12 students and has been taken to reduce the burden amid limited teaching via online classes.
In 2019, the ISC 12th result was declared online on May 7, 2019. A total of 86,713 candidates have taken the examination, of which 39,964 were girls and 44,597 were boys.
3,016 students were unable to pass the examination. The overall pass percentage was 98.34 which increased by around 2 per cent from the previous year. The Class 12th exams were held between February 22 and March 25, 2019.
The pass percentage of ICSE went up by 0.79% over last year when 98.54% students passed the exam. The pass percentage of ISC exams increased by 2.02% over last year’s 96.52%.
CICSE will not release merit list for class 10th and 12th exams this year in view of exceptional circumstances, Secretary Gerry Arathoon said.
This year, 96.8% students have passed the class 12th ISC exam.
A total of 99.33% students cleared the ICSE, Class 10th examination. Out of 207902 students, 206525 have passed.

CISCE has announced ICSE and ISC Results 2020 at cisce.org.
Only one hour is left for ICSE, ISC Results 2020. CISCE will announce the class 10th and 12th results at 3 PM on its official website.
In 2019, 98.54% students had passed the class 10th exam while 96.52% students passed ISC or class 12th exam.
This year, around 23,000 students from the state are registered for the ICSE and ISC exams. They will get their results today at 3 PM.
Students who wrote their Class 12 board exams will be provided with digitally signed copies of the marksheets, pass certificates, and migration certificates, hence these soft copies carry equal importance as of the hardcopy. This is all being done so that students do not have to go to their schools to obtain the marksheet amid COVID-19 situation.
ISC students will be assessed in remaining papers based on the average of best three marks along with the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the project and practical works.
To apply for rechecking, ICSE students have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 per paper and fee for ISC will be Rs 1000 per subject. Students can request a recheck of the results from July 10 to 16.

This year, the Council commenced the ICSE and ISC exams in February. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations cancelled six papers for ICSE and eight papers for ISC following parents took the matter to the court raising concerns regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the new assessment scheme, students will be marked on the basis of the best three percentage marks obtained in subjects for which board exams have been conducted and the marks of their internal assessment as well as project work.
