6:15 PM| A suit was filed against the two news channels and four of their anchors today by the likes of Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Kabir Khan, among others. The plaintiff list also includes the names of The Film &Television Producers Guild of India (PGI), The Cine & TV Artiste, Association (CINTAA), Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC) and Screenwriters Association (SWA).


2:30 PM| Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has been tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. The report was confirmed by the Chief Minister himself on his Twitter account.


1:55 PM| Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced Special Festival Advance scheme wherein all the central government employees will be eligible for an interest free loan of Rs 10,000 which they will have to utilize on festival related spending up to March 31, 2021.

12:15 PM| Bihar BJP MLA Vinod Kumar Singh, passed away at Medanta Hospital in Delhi on Monday. The MLA had been running ill for long time and was admitted to the hospital a few days ago after complaining of a brain hemorrhage. The demise of Minister Vinod Singh was reported by his PA Rajeev Ranjan himself.

Juhu, Andheri, Mira Road, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Panvel were among the areas that were largely affected. “Due to grid failure, the supply of power in the city is disrupted,” a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport [BEST] spokesperson confirmed.

“The electric supply is interrupted due to TATAs incoming electric supply failure. Inconveniences is regretted,” it posted on Twitter.
