India vs Pakistan CWC 2019: Shoaib Akhtar has clear winner, Yuvraj Singh agrees

The highly anticipated match up of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 between India and Pakistan will be going to take place on Sunday at the Old Trafford, Manchester. Ahead of the match, former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has a clear winner for the match.

The intensity of the marquee clash between India and Pakistan will be promising as always because the two arch-rivals meet only in multi-team tournaments and don’t play bilateral cricket.

This will be the seventh World Cup clash between India and Pakistan with the former emerging victorious on all the six previous encounters between the two.

The ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales is already facing a lot of criticism as 4 of the 19 matches have been washed out due to rain and the same is expected in the India-Pakistan clash taking place at the Old Trafford, Manchester. Reportedly, weather forecasting platform AccuWeather has predicted chances of rains in Greater Manchester on June 16.

On the basis of weather reports, former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar took to his official Twitter handle and shared a photograph where India skipper Virat Kohli and Pakistan counterpart Sarfaraz Ahmed can be seen swimming their way to the pavilion after the toss, with the rest of the experts standing on a boat.

He captioned, “Sunday looking a bit like this. Haha.”

The joke clearly points that rain will be the winner of the match between India and Pakistan. Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh, who recently took retirement from International cricket wasted no time and retweeted the photograph.

Rain has been dominating force in the 2019 edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup with four games already being affected washed out. India’s third match of the campaign against New Zealand was called off with out the toss taking place in Nottingham on Thursday.
