India to partner with WHO to develop potential drugs for COVID-19: ICMR

The whole world has been turned upside down with the rise of coronavirus cases. Indians are now trapped inside their homes as there is 21-day lockdown implemented by Union govt to try best to contain coronavirus. The 21-day lockdown was announced on 24th March night time and will continue being implemented till April 14.

Looking at the ginormous infection rate, the virus is spreading fast, with near about 700 infections and totalling 20 deaths its a massive havoc.

However, an official statement from Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) came around on Tuesday through news agency PTI, where the officials stated they are gearing up to build a potential drug partnering with WHO to fight coronavirus.

India was applauded by WHO on Thursday for implementing a 21 days lockdown in an attempt to fight coronavirus. But India has also been advised to be cautious carry on more tests to not let the pandemic spread at a rapid rate.
