CSK veteran MS Dhoni to retire after IPL 2023?

According to the Telegraph, Captain Cool will retire after the IPL 2023. According to reports, this will be Dhoni's final season in the yellows of Chennai Super Kings, and the BCCI is eager to sign the CSK skipper after he hangs his boots for the national team in some capacity following India's humiliating T20 World Cup exit.

According to the report, "Dhoni is expected to retire from cricket after next year's IPL, and the BCCI is eager to put his experience and technical acumen to good use. Adil Rashid has appeared in just one IPL match. He has 3-0-35-0 figures from the only match he has played, in IPL 2021. That year, he was signed by the Punjab Kings. Otherwise, he would have remained unsold. Could the leg spinner finally make his IPL debut? "Yes, I will enter the IPL auctions this time," Rashid said after the World Cup final on Sunday. When asked if he had been in contact with any teams, he said no. While Rashid only took four wickets in six games, he bowled his entire quota of overs at an economy rate of 6.12. And the pace at which he bowled may pique the interest of franchisees, potentially making him more effective than ever on tracks like Eden Gardens, Chepauk, or Uppal.
