Last night, Irrfan Khan‘s mother Saeeda Begum passed away and it hit the internet hard as Irrfan is stuck abroad. A 95-year-old Saeeda Begum was keeping unwell for a long time and passed away due to natural causes, as per ANI. Saeeda resided in Jaipur’s Beniwal Kanta Krishna Colony, while her son Irrfan Khan is staying abroad.
Unfortunately, due to the given circumstances of the Coronavirus outbreak across the world, Irrfan won’t be able to join his family in Jaipur anytime soon. However, as per a report in DNA, the Piku actor was indeed a part of his late mother’s funeral in Jaipur.
There are reports which state that Irrfan attended his mother’s video call via video conferencing he couldn’t be there physically. Saeeda Begum, who belonged to the Nawabi family of Tonk, is survived by her three sons, Irrfan Khan, Salman, and Imran.
Confirming the news of her demise, Salman, in an interview with The Indian Express revealed, “My mother had been ill for some time. But suddenly her health deteriorated on Saturday morning. Recently, the mother had inquired about Irrfan’s health.”
