On the occasion of Ram Pothineni’s birthday, the teaser of iSmart Shankar was dropped. The one minute-20 second teaser shows that it will be a typical Puri Jagannadh film where a hero’s ego has no limits once it gets hurt.x
The teaser starts with Ram Shankar, popularly known as iSmart Shankar getting a tight slap on the face for using a Telugu word used for swearing. The remaining teaser shows how bold, funky, tough and untamable is iShankar’s character. In the teaser, the hero’s vocabulary is a mix of Telugu, Hyderabadi Urdu, and broken English.
The movie is being produced by Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies in associating with Puri Connects. The films also feature Nidhhi Agerwal, Nabha Natesh, and Satya Dev among others.
Recently, both Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh haven’t given commercial or critical success films. Their recent project was also not appreciated much by the audience.
Also, there are speculations that Ram will be starting shooting for the Telugu remake of Tamil film Thadam.
