The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will be releasing the JAC 12th Result 2020 for Arts, Commerce, and Science stream on Friday (July 17) at 1 PM. The results will be declared on the official websites of JAC- jac.jharkhand.gov.in, jacresults.com, and jharresults.nic.in.
The date and time of the results were confirmed by JAC Chairman Arvind Prasad Singh. “We will announce the results of Class 12 board exams on Friday. The results will be out at 1 pm,” Singh said on Thursday.

Steps to check JAC 12th Result 2020:
- Open the official website of JAC- jac.jharkhand.gov.in
- Click on the JAC 12th result 2020 link available on the website
- Select your stream, enter the roll number.
- Click on submit to view your result.
- Once JAC 12th Result is displayed on the screen, download and save it
- Take out the printout for future reference, if required.

Due to heavy traffic, there is a possibility of crashing the official websites. However, students can follow these easy steps and can check their JAC 12th results via SMS. Students are required to send a message in the following format to 56263:

Steps to check JAC 12th Result 2020 via App:
The students can check the results through other apps available at the Google Play store. To get the results via an app, candidates have to pre-register their roll numbers.
JAC Class 12th Results 2020 Pass marks:
As per the minimum marks criteria, students need to obtain a minimum of 30 percent marks to be declared pass in the JAC class 12 examination. Thus, at least 30 marks out of 100 and an aggregate of 150 marks in total is needed to be declared pass.
Earlier information suggested that the board would be announcing the by July 15. The result date was delayed for the state board due to the lockdown and pandemic situation. The evaluation process for the answer sheet was delayed.
A total of 2.8 lakh students had appeared for the JAC Class exam this year. A total of 1.29 lakh (1,29,263) students appeared in the Arts stream, Commerce- 28,515, Science- 76,585. Jharkhand Academic Council conducted class 12 examination for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams in February. The exams commenced on February 11 and concluded on February 28, 2020.
JAC class 10th results were announced on July 8, 2020. The passing percentage of boys in JAC 10th result 2020 recorded at 75.88% while the pass percentage of girls stood at 74.25%.
JAC Class 12th Results 2019:
Last year, in the JAC Class 12 Science stream, 57 percent of students cleared the exam, whereas, in the Commerce stream, the pass percentage was 70.44 percent. A total of 93,781 students in Science registered for the exam of which 92,405 had appeared.
The science stream has been the least performing stream with a pass percentage of only 59.72 per cent. The best performing district in the stream was Haxaribagh at 72.67% and least performer was Pakur with a pass percentage of mere 37.1%

The overall pass percentage in the Arts stream is 82.07 per cent. Female students have delivered a better performance in the stream as 84.20 females and 79.94 males who appeared for the exams, cleared it. Simdega is the top-performing district in the stream with 97.43 per cent pass percentage while Chatra is the worst performer with 53.50 per cent.
In the commerce stream, as many as 77.37% passed. In this stream too, girls have fared better than boys. For females, the pass percentage is at 84.74% while for males it is at 71.17%. The best performing district in commerce is Lohardaga with a pass percentage of 95.09% and the least performing is Sahebganj at 43.13% pass percentage.
