The CCTV footage of Jamia Milia Islamia Old reading hall has been out and it clearly shows how police stormed into the library and thrashed the students with lathis on December 15, 2019.
The 44-second video has also the proof of the date which clearly shows 15-12-2019.
In the video, the lathis are being charged on students in the library and students are seen taking cover and are running away from police to protect themselves.

The CCTV footage was out on social media and was posted by the account of Jamia Coordination Committee which said, exclusive footage of police brutality in the old reading hall, first-floor M.A/M. Phil section on 15/12/2019 and it further added shame on you Delhi Police.
In the video, policemen were wearing masks and were assaulting the students by brutal lathi charging them while students were asked to leave the room.
The Delhi police said that the case has been taken over by the Crime Branch and the investigation is being taken care of.
A Jamia proctor had informed news agency ANI that Delhi Police entered their campus without permission and took violent action against them.
On the other hand, Jamia Millia Islamia Vice-Chancellor Najma Akhtar had asserted that the varsity will not tolerate police presence on campus and demanded a high-level inquiry into the crackdown on university students.
The video belongs to the night of December 15 on which the anti-CAA protests by the Jamia students took a violent turn. The Police showed brutality towards students inside Jamia Milia Islamia university which led severe injury to several students.
