New Delhi: Admission process for free coaching for UPSC’ coveted Civil Services Examination at Jamia Millia Islamia’s (JMI) Residencial Coaching Academy (RCA) began on Thursday, May 9.
Over the years, the Academy has produced as many as 190 civil servants. The academy has in addition seen its 245 students getting selected in various central and provincial services from the academy.
The institution’s academy provides free coaching which includes hostel facility to 200 candidates belonging to minorities, SCs, STs and women (of all communities) for Civil Services Examination.
Last date of applying
The aspirants can apply online at www.jmicoe.in for admission till June 25, 2019.
Test Centres
Entrance tests will take place at 12 centres – Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bombay, Trivandrum, Lucknow, Guwahati, Patna, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
Test Format
The test comprises of General Studies (objective type) test on the UPSC-CSE model alongwith an Essay writing test in English, Hindi and Urdu. The test will take place on July 7, 2019(Sunday) between 10 am to 1 pm.
Result date
Results for the tests will be declared on July 30, 2019. The interviews (tentative) are slated to take place between August 5 and 10, 2019. The result will be declared tentatively on August 20, 2019.
Waiting list
In case of vacancies – Registration for the waiting list will be done on August 28, 2019 and their admission process will be completed by August 30, 2019.
Orientation Class
Orientation Class of the selected candidates will be held on September 3, 2019 at 11.00 a.m.
