Jawan Advance Booking: According to data management platforms, the upcoming film Jawan by Shah Rukh Khan has grossed nearly Rs 17 crore through advance ticket sales, with nearly six lakh tickets sold across the country in less than 72 hours.
According to the box office data monitoring platform Sacnilk, the film has so far sold a total of 5,77,255 tickets. The Hindi market led the way with 5,29,568 2D tickets sold, while 11,558 viewers opted for the IMAX experience, according to the report.
The Tamil and Telugu markets also contributed substantially, selling 19,899 and 16,230 tickets, respectively, for a total of Rs 16.93 crore from advance ticket sales.
Jawan is currently poised to achieve a record-breaking aim of collecting Rs 40 crore from advance bookings alone. Shah Rukh’s previous release, Pathaan secured Rs 32 crore from advance reservations and went on to register an all-India opening of Rs 57 crore. Estimates now indicate that Jawan could surpass these figures with an initial weekend gross of over Rs 65 crore, a feat never before accomplished by a Hindi film.
