JEE Advanced 2020: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020 online registration has begun for foreign nationals who have studied or studying in abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent. Thus, all the candidates can apply for JEE Advanced 2020 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
According to the official information brochure, the deadline to apply for JEE Advanced 2020 is September 17, 2020 (5 pm). Also, the last date to make fee payment of candidates who have successfully completed upto Step 2 is September 18, 2020.
As per the schedule, the JEE Advanced exam is slated on Sunday, September 27, 2020. The examination includes two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Both the papers are mandatory.

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2020 will be held by the seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs in accordance with the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2020. The performance of a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2020 will prepare the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs in the academic year 2020-21.
Who can apply as a Foreign National candidate?
All those candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) and have studied (are studying) abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent at the time of registering for JEE(Advanced) 2020, are treated as foreign national. However, seats allotted to foreign national are supernumerary with a cap of 10 per cent of total number of seats in each course.
JEE Advanced 2020: Steps to apply online
To apply online for JEE Advanced, all the foreign nationals have to go to the official website of JEE Advanced 2020. Follow these steps to complete the application form in the prescribed format.
Following the filling of the application form, upload scanned certificates. In step 3, registration for JEE (Advanced) 2020 will be considered to be complete only after successful completion of step 3 (i.e., payment stage). The admit card will be issued only to those who have successfully completed all the three steps of JEE (Advanced) 2020 registration.
