New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA), conducting body of Joint Entrance Examination Main, is likely to release JEE Main admit card 2020 soon. The engineering entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted from September 1 to 6, 2020.

JEE Main 2020 admit card will be released at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students will be able to download their admit cards using their application number, password/date of birth.

Previously, it was declared that the JEE Main 2020 admit card will be released 15 days before the commencement of the examination and thus, it is expected to be released on August 15.

As JEE Main 2020 date is closing in, students and parents are asking for a further postponement. No such announcement has been taken yet by the NTA or MoE. As per the latest updates, JEE Main 2020 will be held on September.

The entrance exam was earlier slated in July however, the Education Ministry and the NTA decided to delay the exam to September as holding an exam in July amidst surging numbers of COVID-19 cases was not feasible.

The priority of the government is “health and safety of students”, said Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

In the year 2019, JEE main admit card must carry special instructions for examination day, including social-distancing and sanitization norms, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
