The presence of examiners on the first day of the exam was quite low due to the fear of a coronavirus pandemic. In the capital Lucknow, 44% of the candidates did not come to take the exam, as per the Hindustan Times reports.
According to the district administration, about 1065 candidates were to attend. Attendance has been 597.

Due to less number of candidates, the examination was conducted at only three centers. The fear of the corona was clearly visible on the faces of the candidates who were taking the exam.
