JEECUP Counselling 2020: Round 9 registration begins, seat allotment results for round 8 released

JEECUP Counselling 2020: Candidates have also begun the registration process under JEECUP 2020 counselling direct admission round 9.

JEECUP Counselling 2020: JEECUP has released seat allotment results for JEECUP 2020 counselling round 8 at jeecup.nic.in. Candidates have also begun the registration process under JEECUP 2020 counselling direct admission round 9.

Candidates will be allowed to fill maximum of 10 choices during JEECUP counselling 2020.

Separate counselling is held for UP and outside UP candidates. There will now be a total of 9 rounds of counselling and seat allotment.

Candidates have to apply online in order to participate in the process. The counselling of JEECUP 2020 is conducted to grant admissions into engineering programmes offered by the participating institutes.

The procedure of JEECUP counselling 2020 includes various steps like registration and payment of counselling fee, filling and locking of choices, allotment of seats, document verification, etc.

JEECUP 2020 Counselling & Seat Allotment

Candidates who have successfully clear the exam have to register for JEECUP 2020 counselling process. A detailed step by step counselling process is provided below.

Procedure of JEECUP Counselling 2020

Step 1 – Online Registration for counselling – Candidates have to first register themselves to participate in JEECUP 2020 counselling process. To complete the registration process, candidates will have to fill in certain details such as JEECUP 2020 roll number, form number, date of birth, and name.

After registration, candidates will be redirected to a new page where they would have to key in some details along with the selection of a new password.

NOTE: Candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling process only if they are qualified for JEECUP 2020. Candidates can know their eligibility by checking JEECUP result 2020.

Step 2 – Payment of counselling fee – After registration and creation of a password, candidates will have to log in to their account and will have to proceed towards the payment of the JEECUP 2020 counselling fee after accepting the terms and conditions.

After allotment of seats, candidates will have to select one option from freeze and float for confirmation of JEECUP admissions.

Step 3 – Choice filling & locking – After payment, candidates will have to enter their choices for course and institute.

Later, candidates will have to lock their choices. In case they fail to lock choices, the last entered choices will automatically be locked. Candidates are advised to take a print out of their choices for future use.

Step 4 – Allotment of seats – After each round of counselling, the admission authorities would allot seats to candidates on the basis of rank they will hold and the choices they will make while registering for JEECUP counselling 2020. Once it is done, the selected candidates will have to pay seat acceptance fee of Rs. 3000 which would be adjusted in the admission fee at the time of admission in the allotted institute.

Step 5 – Document verification – After payment of seat acceptance fee, candidates have to go under the document verification process. Failing to report for verification, a candidate will be disqualified from the counselling.
