Saraikela: 5 Jawan lost their lives in a Naxal attack, while 3 Jawan are injured, according to a Kashish News report. The incident took place in Tiruldee Police Station, near Kukdu Hatiya, a location which falls under Jharkhand and West Bengal border area.
Reportedly, 2 Sub Inspectors and 3 Jawans were martyred. Following the attack, the DGP confirmed about the attack.
Earlier on 9th April 2019, A BJP convoy was attacked by Naxalites. BJP Dantewada MLA Bheema Mandavi lost his life. Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was used by the Naxals in the attack that took place in the district.
