According to Jharkhand’s chief minister, Hemant Soren, the state government has implemented a reward programme to encourage pupils with high academic achievement. Under this program, the government will award the best three students of the JAC 10th and 12th Board Examinations 2023 with cash prizes of up to 3 lakh, laptops, and mobile phones.
“Even if a student from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, or any other part of the country excels in a Jharkhand school, he/she will be rewarded by the state government,” the chief minister said at a ceremony for awarding prizes.
On this occasion, 68 rank holders of the examinations administered by the Jharkhand Academic Council, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) were honored, as well as the winners of the Jharkhand Olympiad. The government distributed handsets and Rs 1.32 crores.
The first-place winners of the board examination received a prize of three lakh rupees. Those who placed second in the examinations were awarded Rs 2 lakh. However, the third-place finishers received a 1 lakh cash reward.
2023 JAC Board Exams
The JAC 10th Board Exams 2023 began on 14 March 2023 and will conclude on 3 April 2023. In contrast, the JAC 12th Board Exams 2023 commenced on March 17, 2023, and will conclude on April 5, 2023. In February of 2023, the JAC 10th and 12th Practical Examinations were conducted.
