Women came at the forefront of these protests. The protests have been continuing from a fortnight now. The people from the administration have deviated the attention from the protest.

The protesters are trying other ways to protest against the Centre who has passed the contentious CAA.

It is not the month of Ramadan. Roza is kept during the month of Ramadan. On Monday, women were seen fasting at the protest site to attract everyone’s attention. The men also opened the fast with the women at the strike site.

The women Protesters said, “In the formidable situation that the country is going through today, we all need to exercise restraint. We will not allow anyone’s eye on the integrity of the country. We were all the same. Hundreds of villagers were present on the occasion.”

The women present at the dharna said that they have fasted to maintain peace and brotherhood in the country.
